Tracked links and unsubscribe redirects on your own domain.

Point a subdomain you control to Tantra with one CNAME record. Once it is verified, click-tracking links and unsubscribe links in new sends resolve on your domain instead of a shared one.

What you get

Add and validate a hostname

Add the subdomain you want to use for tracked links.

CNAME target

Tantra shows the exact CNAME target to add at your DNS provider.

DNS verification states

Verify DNS and see pending, verified, or failed states.

Multiple domains, one default

Register more than one domain and choose which verified domain is the default.

Shared domain fallback

Without a verified default, sends fall back to Tantra's shared signed domain.

Click and unsubscribe redirects

The chosen host applies to click tracking and one-click unsubscribe redirects.

Tantra can do

  • Rewrite click-tracking links to use your verified domain
  • Rewrite unsubscribe links to use your verified domain

  • DNS verification status for each registered hostname

  • Ability to add a CNAME record at your DNS provider

  • A subdomain you control

Scope and limits

  • Only one verified domain can be the default at a time.
  • Deleting the default falls back to Tantra's shared signed domain.
  • Tantra does not track email opens; custom domains affect click and unsubscribe links only.
  • New sends use your current verified default domain, resolved at send time. It is not snapshotted per campaign, so changing the default changes links in every subsequent send, including sends from older campaigns. Only mail already delivered keeps the host it was sent with.
